The project for the Repair and Expansion of the Coastal Pier in Tatvan and Ahlat Districts of Bitlis Province includes:

Expansion and modernization of the pier,
Increasing the pier’s load-bearing capacity,
Ensuring the safety of pedestrian and vehicle crossings,
Minimizing the effects of marine conditions,
Improvement of landscaping and infrastructure services (lighting, railings, etc.).

Project Objectives:

To increase the operational capacity of the Tatvan coastal pier,
To ensure safe and orderly management of passenger and vehicle traffic,
To establish a modern and secure transportation infrastructure along the coastline.
