Project Description:
To strengthen the transportation network within and around Karabük Province, the following works were carried out on the designated road sections:

Earthworks (excavation, filling, grading),
Civil structures (culverts, retaining and boundary walls, drainage systems),
Superstructure works (plant-mix base, Bituminous Hot Mix (BSK) asphalt paving),
Road safety components and landscaping works.

Project Objectives:

To improve the transportation standards of Karabük’s urban and peripheral roads,
To ensure uninterrupted traffic flow between the Safranbolu – Kastamonu – Karabük and Karabük – Eskipazar routes,
To enhance traffic safety,
To support regional industrial (especially Kardemir), agricultural, and tourism activities.

Project Scope:

Karabük – Yenice Road: 10.8 km,
Karabük Urban Passage: 1 km (Km: 3.22 – 4.22),
Safranbolu – (Kastamonu – Karabük) Junction Road: 2 km (Km: 9.9 – 11.9),
Ovacık – (Karabük – Eskipazar) Junction Road: 10 km (Km: 26 – 36).

Works were carried out over a total length of approximately 24 km.
